Covid-19 Safety Policy

Our team is fully vaccinated. The Social Ginger will follow all CDC guidelines and State, and County restrictions.

Policy Brief & Purpose:

This policy includes measures The Social Ginger will take to actively mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You are kindly requested to follow all these rules diligently, to sustain a healthy and safe session in this unique environment. We ask you adhere to this policy regardless of your vaccination status.

All TSG staff will be wearing protective masks during your video shoot to protect against possible spread of the virus. Understand that there will be the possibility of up to 3-5 people within your proximity at any given time. If you are uncomfortable being in an environment where it is impossible to keep a 6-foot distance to up to 5 people, we suggest booking a private session. We assure you that we will treat your private health with high confidentiality and sensitivity.

When you Arrive for Your Appointment

If you have cold symptoms, such as a cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, or if you or anyone you have been in close contact with has tested positive for COVID, please notify us immediately for reschedule options.

Why a Video Party?

Video parties are our way to offer you an opportunity to capture and create engaging professional video content customized to you at a much-reduced cost. Our process is streamlined to also include all the important elements such as great sound, lighting, and HD Quality picture.

What to Expect

  • Each participant will have the opportunity to discuss their video plan and script ideas with a member of our team prior to your video shoot. This will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the process. Note: To keep costs affordable, we will not be assisting clients with writing scripts. Our goal is to offer an affordable option and allow participants to be creative and compose their own scripts. We do offer some video’s to review and suggestions in the Q&A included below. 
  • Your own designated time in our studio. Your 1-hour will allow for you to record up to 3 short videos (30-60 seconds) or 1-2 longer videos (90 – 120 seconds). Your video recording goals will be discussed with a TSG Team member prior to the video shoot. Your studio time is set, so be sure to come prepared with your scripts.
  • You will have the ability to decide on a backdrop option for your videos: white or black. Within the backdrop options, we can also add a customized LED colored light overlay.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a professional hair and makeup company, Kelsea Dayberry of Radiant Reflection, to prepare your appearance prior to your video shoot.
  • If you need a teleprompter, let us know ahead of time. We got you!
  • All videos will be filmed in landscape mode (16×9 ratio)
  • Videos will be recorded and edited in 1080p.

    Types of Videos to Record

    This is your time to record videos on whatever you want. Some of the ways your videos can be used: social media channels, YouTube, and your website.

    Here are some topic ideas to consider:

      Getting Your Videos Edited

      Editing video content takes time and we want to make sure it’s done right and not rushed. Our editing priority will be based on the sequence of when you signed up for our party. The process to get your videos edited could take from 1 to 3 weeks. The editing time is dependent on several factors. Basically, the early bird gets the worm.

      Your final edited video will include the following:

      • Lower-third introduction (with your name/company)
      • Stock music in the background (we will send you a few options to choose from)
      • Logo watermark installation (if requested)
      • End card with your logo and/or call-to-action
      • 1 Thumbnail Image


      Required Booking Costs

      INITIAL DEPOST – $400 (prepaid)
      Deposit Includes:

      • Your studio rental reservation & hair and makeup costs for 1 participant (additional participants will be assessed a $50 additional charge for hair/makeup services)
      • Video Deposit – Covers the costs of 1 edited video up to 90-seconds or two short videos up to 45-seconds each.

      Fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation

      * If more than 2 participants in a video shoot, please confirm that we are able to accommodate. 


      Add-On Services

      Additional services will be billed at the completion of video editing and final approval.

      (flat rate up to 60-seconds)

      + $25 per each additional 15-seconds.

      Includes an animated logo.

      I have paid a deposit, now what can I expect prior to my video shoot?

      One person from our team will reach out to you to discuss your video strategy. Our discussion will be about the types of videos you would like to shoot, if you have any props or individuals joining you, recommendations of what to wear/not wear, and answer any other questions you may have.  After this, it is your responsibility to put together your scripts and practice, practice, practice. If you feel you will need a teleprompter, please let us know.

      I need help writing my scripts. Do you have anyone you can recommend?

      During our planning call, please be sure to let us know. We might be able to give you some ideas of how to DIY a script or if you would prefer to work with a professional we can help you find someone to assist.  Consider signing up for the “Ditch BS Marketing: Sell the Script” workshop.       What if I run out of time during my video shoot?

      On average it takes about 15-25 minutes to shoot a 60-90 second video. This is why we stress that you do not prepare for more than 3 short videos or 2 slightly longer videos during your studio time. It all depends on the length of the video you are looking to record. Our recommendation is to start with the most important video and work your way through your scripts. Your time to record is set, and unfortunately we will have a hard cut-off to accommodate the other participants.

      Will I be able to receive a refund if I have to cancel and give up my studio spot?

      If you give us at least a 7-day minimum notice, we will refund you the 100% prepaid costs associated with your video deposit and your $50 studio fee. If your cancellation notice is less than 7-days and no less than 24-hours notice of the video shoot we will only be able to refund you the video deposit portion. Your $50 studio fee is non-refundable or transferable with less than 7-days notice.

      What is the review process like?

      When you receive your final edited video you will have up to 5-days to review it and respond with any edit requests. This is your time to give us all of your feedback. We will then rework your requests as we are able and redeliver your edited video.

      How will I receive my edited video files?

      Once you have given us the confirmation that you are happy with your edited video, we will share the files with you through a shared Google Drive folder. You will want to make sure to immediately download those files onto your computer for safekeeping.

      What if I don’t like my video?
      If you are unhappy with your video and it’s an editing issue, we will do what we can within reason to fix or make right the part that is unsatisfactory. You will have up to 2 edit requests included in your video cost. Anything beyond that we will need to charge you for the additional time. We have no control over your preparedness with your script, or chosen attire. These are things we can not fix during the editing process. To mitigate any insecurities in front of the camera ahead of time, we highly recommend you practice till you feel comfortable. Have a friend or family member record you giving your video so that you can get as much feedback and make corrections as needed before your video date
      Can I have a second person join me in my video?

      Yes, if they are part of an interview, demonstration, or testimonial video. We have enough microphones to cover two people.

      How can I prepare for my video shoot?

      We have put together THIS resource to help you with putting together your video topic, script, and your video day attire. IMPORTANT… once you have completed your scripts, test them out and time yourself. It’s pretty crazy how time flies.

      I’d love to join, but I have a schedule conflict during that time. Can I set up an alternative time?
